「 浜さ行ってくる。 」
そう言って、子供の頃の私は家のすぐそばの海岸へ通っていた。波や風の騒めき、飛び交う鴎、海と川の匂い、纏わりつく潮が好きだった。数十年経ち、かつての風景は一変したが、目を瞑ってみると、あの浜は今も確かにここにあり、海に溶け込んでいると感じた。
私は故郷の海の塩で作った感光紙(鶏卵紙)に浜の記憶を留めることにした。
“I’m going to the beach. “
With these words, I used to go to the beach near my house when I was a child.
I loved the noise of the waves and the wind, the seagulls fly around, the smell of the sea and the river, and the clinging tide. Decades have passed, and the landscape has changed, but when I meditate on it, I realize that the beach is still here, still blended in with the sea.
I decided to keep the memory of the beach on photosensitive paper (Albumen paper) made from the sea salt of my hometown.
